Just so everyone knows, if you buy a used car in WA state they will check a used car price guide for the avg price and if you paid within 2K of the price they base the sales tax on your purchase price. Otherwise they base it on the avg price in the book. The book was just a cheesey drug store paperback. My new '99 Disco II was in their book at 10,300 and I said 9000 so I was ok. This info can save you a few hundred bucks since out tax rate is like 8.9%
