A fairly superficial glance at the Lexus UK site does not appear to offer a luxury convertible along the lines of the sc430. Does that mean that Lexus has abandoned competing with the Mercedes SL series? In
2007, when I bought my sc430, it was a better car than the 2007 SLs, and I owned SLs for over 20 years before moving to Lexus. Now, Lexus could build a better SL-equivalent, cheaper than the Mercedes, with its eyes closed. What gives?
