LS 400 highest mileage & cost ?

I'd like to hear from some owners of high mileage cars tell us the mileage and what major cost items outside of normal mtc such as oil, tires, etc were experienced.

Well my 1990 LS400 has ~208K and gets 24 mpg/Highway and about 16 mpg/City. (When new, the sticker stated 23/18 mpg). I just got passed by CT emission testing (the NO figure was about 85% of max acceptable, but the HC and CO were very low). Since about 180K, I have put out minimal money, except for consumables. The brakes are due for maintenance however (and were worked on several time over the years). Also there seems to be more of a pressure build up when opening the gas cap lately! (ideas?) The most expensive miles were between 100K and 160K. Replaced interior LCD clock display, dash needles, subwoofer (speaker foam rot), Passenger door lock actuator, hood struts, power steering pump, alternator, water pump, radiator overflow tank, & AC conversion. It sounds like a lot, but nothing that stopped me dead in the water. It always turns right over and doesn't show many signs of its age or slowing down.

Normal in the spring if more volatile winter blend gas is in the tank and warmer weather hits.
