When will ES-300 design change occur?

Aug 09, 2003 2 Replies

We are currently on our second Mercedes C-Class which will be replaced about the time that the 2005 models are introduced in the U.S. With the Mercedes it was very easy to determine model introduction as it occurred fairly reliably every 7 years.

We are quite attracted to the 2003 ES-300 but would not want to get a 2003 or 2004 if the model would change soon. Are Lexus model design changes made on a regular timetable? If so when should the ES-300 be scheduled for update?

Thanks - Mike

Lexus seems to change models every 7-10 years. You will be in for a very long wait if you want a new shape ES300 since the current one was only released in the last year or so.

Thanks. We did not want to get into one only to have it change the next year. We do like the current ES-300 design. Our first "C" was the first year and the second was the last year of the model cycle. The last one was cheaper but was dated pretty quickly . I wanted to try to avoid that with a new Lex.
