16v 1.8 2000 vectra hydraulic lifters

hi there, can i fit new lifters just by unbolting the camshaft sprockets and then removing the cams... or will it be impossible to get the sprockets back on again afterwards without removing all the bottom belt cover and loosening the tensioner etc. cheers, andy

Yes, but you won't half be pissed off if the belt jumps when you start it. & it'll be more hassle & take longer,
