Hi all
I'm looking to get a newer car than my current one (Rover 214 Si 16V 3 door) and would like something of similar size. I've viewed a Rover 216Si R reg but it seemed very small inside with very small seats very uncomfortable.
Any suggestions?

To sound predictable - =A31500 should get you an awful lot of Mondeo!
Plenty of room, drive very well, IME very reliable, and they don't have a K= =20 series engine at the front, which can only be a plus!

Car dealer mate just sold a pretty good Kia Mentor for £650. R plated, FSH, 72,000 miles, all that was wrong was a crack in the front bumper.
200s are tiny now. You want a 400 series to get the same space as the old 200. The small seats seem to blight all Rovers, though, even the MG ZT has them; Recaros definitely need to be an option.Look for Korean, Japanese or Malaysian. Look for low miles and FSH. Protons are tough, don't seem to rust much; but they get neglected because people don't value what costs them little. Kias are still a bit odd, especially larger ones.
Either way, £1,500 is, incredibly, enough to get some nice, new cars these days.

Close, get a Peugeot 406 TD. I got a very nice P reg with aircon for £1300.
