Recently bought an escort and it runs fine except for it cutting out when cold. It starts ok but when I put it into gear and ease off it cuts out . i have to keep restarting it as it continues to happen when i slow down at a junction or lights , in fact anywhere when I change down. After about 5 mins it stops doing it and eveything is fine. I have had a new temp sensor fitted and am still having probs. Any ideas would be greatly accepted as it is driving me mad. Sorry , unintentional pun.
