Good afternoon to one and all, I have a 1994 2.0ltr ABK Audi 80E, some of the dash illumination bulbs have blown, do the glass bulbs come out of the plastic 1/4 turn holders or are they all one bit, I have tried to pull them out but they don't move one little bit. I have also replaced the temp gauge sender and now the gauge reads 110 dec C in normal traffic, I have checked the water temp and it is only 90 deg any suggestions and does any one know what temp the electric fan comes on at??

IIRC the bulbs are sold with the holders- they don't pull out.

Sounds like your new sender may be faulty or incorrect.
Yup. They're all one piece, and fitted to many cars. Including those in my BM dash.
To the OP. They're so common you can buy them at virtually any auto place. Halfords stock them, or you can buy them on line for peanuts.:-) Mike.
Thanks for the reply, I have noticed there is a small square hole looks like an adjustable resistor thing by the temp gauge would this be to tune the temp gauge to the sender ??
