hi, i have the option to purchase a renault clio diesel very cheap , i have been told by the owner that the cylinder head gasket has blown and needs a new set . i can get the car to a garage but not being very clued up on cars i am not sure what price i should expect to pay . i know cost can vary due to the labour cost , but it will be a local garage that i can take it to . could anyone tell me what i should aprox expect to pay thank you .

Anyone who is selling a vehicle with a fault like this is doing so because they know the cost of the repair, and it's not economical. So try and find a mug. Walk away.

but it's a Renault, best left dead and weighed in
