What the hell for? It won't go any faster and'll just smoke like a pig.

It's gutless, lost it's kick and everything else has been tried so it's last resort. Boost pressure is there, no leaks so it's worth a try.

Strangely on these Isuzu TD's there is no wastegate or boost regulation on the turbo- it just blows as hard as it can, actual max boost being determined by the fuelling level.

Stock boost is 12-14psi, so if you are not seeing this at 3000rpm (the approved rpms to measure boost at) and the exhaust is clean then you definately dont have enough fuelling.- assuming no leaks, and no blocked exhaust.

Remmeber this engine has an oxidising cat and i've seen them broken up blocking the exhaust. You will get some boost, but only abit. The engine will get more and more sluggish the more revs you try to use.

Your exhaust back box is partly clogged. Had that on my old Cav TD. Dave
