If I indicate left, right or put the hazard switch on, the flasher unit sounds normal. In all other circumstances the flasher unit chatters.
All the lights work correctly
I have put in a new Renault flasher unit but it to clicks away as well, so it is not that unit
The clicking - rather like a manic dancer from River Dance - is constant - that is, it does not change with speed or when other items are switched on e.g. radio, fan, rear screen heater, wipers etc
Would be grateful for advice on how to cure this problem - thanks.
