Corsa No Compression on 3

When putting the vacuum cleaner up the exhaust as previously suggested. Putting the pair of valves in the closed position for each pot there was suction coming through the spark plug hole when they were shut apart from the forth where there was no suction. Indicating that the first 3 valves are open. I have put wire down the oil channels to unblock when the rocker box was removed and all lifters and followers. The head is coming back off anyway so I can re check it all.

More likely was that the valves were bent and allowing air flow

All now working. It was the hydraulic lifters. The lifters were stripped and cleaned by a frriend and myself. The engine now runs like a treat. Just need to change the bulb behind the clock. I am sure that is a more easy job. Thanks to all that have helped. A big thanks to Ian Stirling for the vacuum cleaner up the exhaust method. Will remember that one.
