Hi,
My Daewoo Lanos has now got an annoying problem of idling at about
1300rpm when I come to a halt. I took a guess that it was the idle control valve on the throttle body, and have cleaned this out, and also got a second one from a scrappy..but still no fix ! When I come to a halt the revs will slowly die down to about 900, but then a few seconds later slowly rise up to 1300 and stay there. It doesn't affect the car to drive, but after revving for about 30secs at 1300, the engine management light clicks on. I can't really afford to take it to a Vauxhall dealer, so wonder if anyone has any bright ideas ?
Could it be the throttle position sensor or something else..
Thanks
Paul...
