Do garages charge more if you own a 'flash' brand/type of car?

Where is that exactly? The only one I know of is the one on the A30 near the Crooked Billet roundabout - Dagenham Motors, I think. It's not that one you're on about, is it?

Were they the ford dealer that featured on the program "Trouble at the top"?

But the workshop staff will be lucky to see a 1/10 of that. Steer clear of main dealers, with high rent and rates on town center or main road locations. Expensive offices and showrooms that get a make over and refurb every few years. Big full or two page ads and/or prime page ads just inside front or on back cover of the papers car insert, put together by an expensive ad agency with not many cars on the page

- eg 6 new models and no list of the secondhand stock. Chains where managing directors and head office costs are taking a big cut from a smallish trade or operations where 6 members of the same family are doing bit jobs on the board for full board member pay. Places that sell new cars at a loss to keep the volume up so they keep the franchise. The workshops have to make the money to pay for all these excess costs.
