Engine flushing

Heh - vision of a blue Siecento with somebody using a stopwatch - "oooh we're on the high street, must have accelerated a little" rather than "I'm on Green Lane, must have slowed down a little."

With the roads around here I've always got to be adjusting my right foot to compensate etc.

I normally wouldn't, but I will need to know that for this engine flush.

Nope, my manual doesn't, I know the KA manual does though.

Yeah, they're probably also useful for engine flushing though.

Yeah, the cat heat shield I believe.

No I haven't, yet.

Yep, my engine noise has change a lot recently. It's really annoying, since I changed my gasket I've been labouring my engine as much as my dad does :-o. I can't believe the difference it's made, I think I'll need to go a bit slower and rev it even more. I think I may get a Trepiuno when they come out :-D, hopefully it'll be big enough.

No, I also use my speedo, but if the car starts to 'run away' then you can sometimes notice it without looking at the speedo.

The message from petermcmillan snipped-for-privacy@yahoo.com (Peter) contains these words:

Er, yes, that's how it's done. Is there some element of surprise to this?

In news: snipped-for-privacy@posting.google.com, Peter decided to enlighten our sheltered souls with a rant as follows

"Sometimes"... Peter, I have to say, you worry me.

First you complain about people tailgating you on dual carriageways, now you say you can sometimes tell how fast you're going...

IIWY, I'd send that driving licence back to the DVLA...

Put a piece of card under the throttle stop screw. If that doesn't give enough speed add more card.
