93 fiat uno 1.0ie fire when you press the brake pedal sometimes it will go hard but as your slowing down it will lose it pressure and travel even further and then go hard again. i think it is the master cylinder. any suggestions cheers

Replace it.
if it has a servo then that could be faulty or have a damaged hose.
