My Mk 1 Focus came with a horrible Momo gearknob which is painful to use, but I can't get it off to replace it with a more comfortable one. Immediately under the knob is a collar which unscrews to give access to
3 grub screws which undo with a hex key. But all undoing those seems to achieve is to allow the knob to turn. It still won't lift off. I didn't turn it very far, but it didn't feel like it was unscrewing. Any ideas?
