Bought an ex-motability Focus at 14 months old, from a locally respected dealer, (not Ford). Was told before purchase that it was no longer covered by the Ford warranty as it was corporate/fleet. Rather than retail. Ok full disclosure and it was cheap so fairy snuff. Local Ford dealer denies all knowledge, as you might expect ;)
Question is though, do Ford still have any responsibilities if there were inherent faults during manufacture? Not thinking about safety recalls, but what about non-safety recalls etc? Got an issue with slight corrosion from a leaking battery and was just wondering, as you do...
