Fuel cost

It must be getting to the stage now whereby when you trade in an old banger, the car sales-man is going to ask how much fuel is in the tank , which if full could double the value of your vehicle.

The message from "Richard" contains these words:

Funnily enough I thought of this yesterday 'cos I'm scrapping my Maestro. The bloke said they'd only manage about £15 for it - which is more than I expected consdiering it won't have a head on it and a number of other choice morsels will be missing. Anyway - it occured to me to drain the tank really thoroughly.
