What I was trying to say is that I've used the Professional Glue from Hafixs with great success. It seems to stick almost anything to almost anything and helps maintain my reputation for "Grandpa fix it". It seems to be basically a cyanoacrylate with additives. See
I see a reply from you in d-i-y, posted on Sunday. I hate cross-posted messages, for just this reason, there seems to be little consistency in where replies appear, or don't.

Like it or not, if the OP (in this case, me) wants followups to both groups and sets it up that way, who the hell are they to take it upon themselves to change it? If they don't like it, they don't have to do it on posts they make, but should accept that others do.
I would take the view that anyone replying has the right to reply to whichever groups he wants to, or not.
