The chances are a breakers yard will tell you it is a main dealer part being as it is 05 plate.

Try and order the part online, the mirror should be available which will just stick on.

But where online? That was the whole point of the OP's original post.

By nature, very few specialists have this sort of spares for new cars, so why not just use a different dealer? They should be able to order what you want by phone.

Although just to add that if the surround is body coloured it's unlikely you'll get one in the correct colour from the makers - it will have to be sprayed. So it might be worth asking a local body shop about supplying one and painting it.
