Has anyone dealt with Mr. Clutch (specifically in Lewisham)? How is their service record? I need drive shaft and handbrake work done on an 11 year old car.
Thanks, Chris

I think the clue's in the name.

Firstly it is a franchise so outlets are likely to vary.
Secondly, presumably they specialise in clutches so why are you considering other work?
These not the people who always insist your flywheel needs expensive regrinding on their expensive machine, regardless of actual condition?

I've use a local Mr Clutch and I have had no problem wtih them whatsoever. My sister also had some work done there and she feels the same.

may be the disadvantage of franchise operations, the now closed local, to me, branch of Mr Clutch had a reputation for trying to collect on their investment in a flywheel grinder.
Other branches may well be far better.

Yep! At last someone else who's had this "done" to them. Bastards they are.
I once called the one in Lewisham for a quote and found them to be very expensive. There are loads of decent indepentent places in the area who were cheaper and more trustworthy.
involves a bit of sandpaper. Do they really remove flywheel? Last time heard they charged 16.00 for three seals on a BX (Which only has two and GSF cost was £6 for both at the time.)
