LED inspection light at Lidl

Got a rather nice rechargeable LED inspection light at Lidl this week. Looks a bit like a fluorescent tube one - but has 80 reasonably 'white' LEDs in four rows. Battery life said to be 3.5 hours. With mains and car chargers. Charger shuts off when battery is charged. Just under a tenner.

Thanks for the heads up Dave, mine's charging as we speak +ADs-)

Didn't get it. The only one left in the shop had cable and charger missing from the box.

Luckily there are several within a reasonable distance of here so can usually get most things for a few days after the actual offer. Although the most popular ones can go early in the day.

The LIDL shops within my reach usually have an odd mix of old and new offers, but never the complete range of the advertised offers for the week. So it's hit and miss what you find. But a relief from the statutory rip-off mark-ups by the likes of Halfords and Homebase.

Round here there are two offers a week. And if something is popular it will sell out quickly. Although not so fast now since the recession set in.

;-) I've noticed the type of customers Lidl etc get now has changed drastically in the past couple of years or so. Round here, there used to be a large percentage of single young men shopping there for food etc - and mostly from the old Soviet block, so probably in the building trade. They got hit hard - all building just stopped for many months.
