Packed up a few weeks ago. I've changed the battery but don't really know what else to try. Everything works fine on key and happy to carry on using it, but remore fob was handy sometimes. Its the radio frequency type on a 99 Mondeo 1.8 LX.
Out of interest where is the radio receiver located?
from autodata: to reprogram remote: turn ign to pos II 4 times in 3 secs. switch off, remove key clock led should be on, you have 20 secs single battery key: press any button , led should flash if you have more keys to program wait two secs and press the button on the other key
to end turn ign on, wait 20 secs
then try the keys
