Apologies if this has been covered before...
starts well, runs well, idles well when cold but once its warmed up the idle becomes very rough, only started happening during the last month or so - cars done 97k. Any ideas Thanks in advance

The message from "NikV" contains these words:
Valve clearances closed up, so they don't fully close when hot?
Wont cause a rough idle- but check the cold start timing advance is returning to the run position as it warms up also..
Go with the valve clearances as Guy says first though .
Tim..
Thanks Guys
After getting to work this morning I fiddled with the cold timing advance cable and lever seemed a bit stiff and after it was idling much better - not very scientific - will investigate at the weekend.
