Parker's or What Car? for used car prices

Which gives a more accurate price for a used car? "Parker's" "What Car's Guide To Used Car Prices"

Online these guides vary by 10% or so. (Am sure Glass's is better but they charge online for each lookup.)

Am not seeking a spot-on price but I want to browse a range/model and see relative prices. Doing this online can be slow work.

Thanks.

Look for the exact model, spec. and year you want on Autotrader, take the average of the lowest and highest price and that's probably more accurate than either Parkers or What Car....

You can get free Glass's trade in valuations on the vauxhall website. They won't tell you retail or private sale prices obviously , but you can guesstimate a fair margin on top and if you want to compare prices of different models they'll be fine

But what about the extra uplift in price for haggling purposes which will have been included in the Autotrader prices?

See that word 'average'.......

But even the average is going to be uplifted if all the prices are uplifted!

IME recently Parkers is always high, What Car more realistic. Might be different down South though.
