Just seen this linked to from a woodworking group.. apparently brass wouldn't scratch the windscreen. But has anybody tried it?
Currently I just use a 3l pop bottle (with a convenient handle) of lukewarm water to deice the car, but sometimes you need a scraper when you're not at home.
Any experiences (well, brass-blade-based windscreen scraping experiences) welcomed...
