Better to persuade owners to change the fluid at the correct service intervals. Not leave it untouched for many many years. Do that and the nipples won't corrode in place.

I agree, I use a MAPP gas torch and produces enough heat for most things. A big propane torch will work but the flame is much larger , so would prob n eed to remove and strip caliper first. I've had to heat larger comp0nents f or prob ten minutes to get hot enough - one of the rear disk bolt on my mot orbike comes to mind, snapped a 6mm hex bit in the process but heat did the trick in the end.
