Rather than pay a dealer to change a battery I'd rather buy one and fit it myself but does the key need reprogramming afterwards? On my Seat Alhambra there's a sequence of various button presses and insertions and removals of the key from the lock, specified in the manual, but all the Yaris manual says is take it back to the dealer. I'm not mean, honest, just don't like paying someone to do something I could do myself.

autodata just says change the battery, many are like that, provided you don't leave the battery out too long it should be fine.
Thanks. What's autodata? Is it available to punters?
What's Google?
Anyone can buy it, just search for it. Bit expensive for home use though.
What's sarcasm? Who asked you anyway?
