I have a 2003 mazda in a teal color. best guess, this color was not an option in 03. There is not a color code on the door, but looking behind some equipment, it is the same color. Is it possible this teal is the original color?

Splash Green was a 2003 only color and it could certainly be described as teal. Only 738 were this color. The color code should be on the driver's side door frame. I think for splash green it is 25R but don't take my word for it.
