all 1994 R model enthiusiasts

You have contacted me..at least 15 of you and have enlightened me on the joys of owning a 94-R model Lauguna Blue Miata. Exhausting to talk to all of you...however I want to sell the car because of arthritic knees and a new part of my job which requires a lot of driving. As a courtesy to you enthusiasts I will put off posting the car on college sites before a chance is given to serious potential buyers. However, if only 200 of these babies were made in 1994...one less will be available for a purchase. You can contact me at snipped-for-privacy@comcast.net and I will send you pictures. The car is in very good shape with 105 K on the odometer. Was probably in an accident since car is repainted in original color and passenger side is faded...but same Laguna color.Rides like everyone else's report. Handles like everyone reports. Original radio, great wheels. I did replace the front shocks before being enlightened about this mistake since they were shot. Did replace exhaust system. Everything else is stock..no power anything. Does have air..have changed all the belts, has major tune up , new tires, new top.No problem with the water pump...you all asked the same questions. What I don't understand is that the shock absorber thing...there are replacement parts for the 94 R which cost around $800. Why would this freak all of you out so much? This is not a sales pitch, just want to give you serious guys the heads up.

There's no problem with replacing the OEM Bilstein shocks with quality alternatives, but all four should be done together to preserve balance. The R is all about balance, after all.
