in a garage very very close to me is a project which has taken a long long time to complete...........................
the a/c didnt work...fiddled with trying to get the wire i pulled out of the a/c connector back in for a long time over the last few days....f. i. put the s/c, p/s and take the connector off, push te wire in, pull the wire out and re-push it in with the correct orientation this time. re assemble
- a/c works.
pull valve cover, re-torque head...
- spot on at 60 ft#
little bits of oil still seem to be every where, hmmmm f. i., torque the valve cover to 60 "#
- we'll see
change the oil/filter...its been 100 - 150 miles on the new motor so it cant hurt...
- i'll wait until tomorrow to search thru the bottom of the drain pan to see what flakes there may be.
previously installed the new water by pass hose.
- seems good but only a few miles on it.
- im going for a ride to check it out before i put anti-freeze in it.
swmbo might just get to drive her car to work tomorrow.......
