Hi, there, Can anybody explain why my temperature gauge always indicate high even though the engine is cool still?

If the 626 is like the Miata, there are three different temperature sending units (one for the fan, one for the engine control computer, and one for the gauge). Sounds like the sending unit for the gauge is faulty or disconnected.
