I am purchasing a 1995 SL320 with 82000 miles. It apparently has been well taken care of and maintained. Are there any maintenance issues that should be investigated to make this car 100% reliable. Any help, comments and suggestions will be appreciated Thanks Peter

The 24 valve 3.2L six is a fine, smooth engine, however it often has oil leaks at its valve cover and front (timing chain) cover. Mine did at 18K miles.
Check the Service history for both Head gasket and Engine wire harness up-grade/change.. Both have prob been done by now, but a check is a good idea as they are expensive repairs and will eventually fail if original.
