240D AC Compressor Replacement

Jun 12, 2004 1 Replies

The AC compressor is leaking so it needs replacement I would like to switch to R134 at the same time. What other parts should be replaced during the gas change?

Chris

Certainly all the pipework. R134 has a much smaller molecule than freon, and will simply escape through the walls of your existing pipes. R143 installations also have different connectors on the fittings.
