Does anybody know how to remove the Interior Rear View Mirror on A 1982

380SL W107

The mirror is designed to break away on impact (as in a collision). It is held in place by a spring loaded holding bracket. It can be popped in & out by hand pressure, but requires more force than you might imagine. Grab one side and give it a good, gutsy pull.
