Can you interchange an automatic shift Knob for a manual shift knob....Does the automatic knob end unscrew ?...to put the manual knob on

Depends, some do some don't. Just try it. It's not like there's a hortage of new and used shiftter around.
While thew knows should come off the shift lever with knob seems to be what people deal in.
