MGB Water Leak...

questions. As soon as I fix one thing, another seems to go wrong... !

low on coolant - and so I topped it up. Today, when stuck in traffic the temperature went into the red. I pulled off the road - and again, I was out of coolant. Thanks to some old gentleman (who's door I knocked on!) I got things back on the road.

the clips). Looking down into the engine bay, I can't see any obvius source of the leak. As it's dripping below the gearbox (well, the plate where the gearbox bolts onto the engine) - it would indicate someting at the back of the engine bay, in front of the heater. But, everything seemd dry!

perhaps be the heater itself, as this doesn't work and is stuck on 'cold'. But ... it seems to be coming from between there and the main lump.

Luckily, the fun drive more than makes up for it!

check to see if vent in front of windshield is blocked with leaves and dirt it usually is clog up ,the vent has a tube with black plastic ball (YOU CAN PULL THE BALL OFF TO CLEAN) The down tube is located right above the tranny and it is most likely water that leaks out from rain or when you wash your car. ON MY CAR THE TUBE WAS SO CLOG I had to blow it out with conpressed air the oppisate way
