The local newspaper always has loads of used (1 to 3 year old minis) for sale....why would someone want to sell his/her "new" car...is maintainence or upkeep expensive..I want to buy a mini, but if there's a problem I want to know. Thanks

I'll think you'll find that's what most peopple do. I normally buy a new car, and then sell it after 3/4 years. That way I can just re-finance it on a fairly good deal.
