I tried to join the specialist mini forums before & was rejected, gang of stuck up bas***ds, probably as they would be pissed that my new acquisition was better than all of their cars :-)

Please be sure to read through their (rather strange) joining procedure :)

The normal route via their forum hosting service lead to them being flooded with spam messages, so they introduced their own method (which is a bit cumbersome to go through).

I'm assured it's a bunch of quite alright guys over there (not a member myself, but my girlfriend (and her '67 inno mk1) is).

just had a second attempt at doing it but got a second knock back, I even mailed them too with 4 pics of the car, easyboards have got to be the worst way to fill you mail box with rubbish, you need to activate your account with a valid e mail addy, then you have to click a huge number of adds to get your account, each page requires you to check at least 1 box to receive junk mail, which my mail box is full of since I tried to sign up, I give up!

Steve.

ps if you want a message forum use pro boards, no spam, no junk,

I'm with you there, ezboard is utter pants .. my thoughts exactly.

My registration (yesterday) with them was ok however, registered as I've seen they've got an RSP cooper forum and there's a couple of things that I couldn't find out myself. Like how come that the temperature sensor for the electrical cooling fan just committed suicide over a recent standing time of about three months.

Sure .. just wanted to point out that the people on the forum itself seem very much alright and I like the idea of special sections for the more unusual type of mini ;)

best regards,
