My fuel gauge is on empty all the time now. I?ve taken it to the dealer to get it fixed and both times, it worked for most of my drive home (about 20 mins) but by the time I got home it was on empty again. Today they reconnected the fuel gauge plug in at fuel gauge on cluster. Does anyone know what might be wrong? Anyone with similar problems? By the way there are fewer than 10k miles on odometer.

Th eearly Galant over here in Australia, had a slight problem with the sender unit inside the fuel tank, if it is clogged with rubbish from bad fuel or such, it can be stopped from sending fuel levels to the dashboard, take out the sender and check for any blockage. Other than that it could be a timing fault or a fault in your engine control system.
