Hello everyone,
I have a '95 Mighty Max that I got used. When first purchased by me, it wouldn't shift into third gear unless I double clutched and really dicked the RPM's right. I thought it was a problem with the syncros, but after taking it to the shop they informed me it was the gear retainer that was bad. So to make a long story short, the shop fixed it, and every thing was peachy until 2 days ago....
Suddenly the tranny started whinning in 3rd and in 5th, but only under load. In 2nd, it will whine only while engine braking. So far 1st and 4th seem to be quiet... (fingers crossed).
Any ideas, insights, troubleshooting tips, or general information would be greatly appreciated. :-)
