Hello all,
My Mitsubishi Spyder GT has its battery completely down. I had taken AAA help to jump start the vehicle and then drove it for about half an hour. I then tried to restart the car but it fails to. Is this a batter problem? THe indicator however shows the battery is charging. WHat do I do?

You need to have the battery tested.
It could indeed be a bad battery (age?), or a loose/corroded connection to the battery for that matter too. That said, it also could be the result of a problem in your charging system (alternator, voltage regulator, cables between them, or simply a loose belt that drives the alternator). The bottom line is that it could be any combination of any of these items and you need to look at each to decide.

All, Thanks for your suggestions. I called up the AAA guys and got it jump started. I then went for about a 25 mile drive and now its fine. Thank goodness I don't need a new battery.
