Foul Odour from A/C

Hi, I own a '96 Eclipse GSX. A huge problem the car's having is the foul odour from the A/C. After a bit of 'googling' I found that it's most likely bacterial growth arising from condensation. I also read that I can use something called frigi-fresh spray to fix it.



My questions are in the GSX, where is the bacteria/mildew/mold growth likely to be found? How do I get to it to clean it out?

There is a box under your dash on the passenger side. You will have to take the glove box out to get to it.

That is correct!!! remove the glove box and open tha box there. there should be a filter there. Replace it and clean that area.
