fuel air guage

i installed a fuel air guage this weekend. is this a wild guage or did i do something wrong? the guage really does not stay in one place really at all. is that normal? it seems to toggle back and forth constantly...

at WOT it is really rich. just curious but is there way to tune this. it would seem better if it would lean out a bit. is that realistic?
