I am familiar with using spring compressors when renewing macphersion struts but how does one go about removing the load from torsion bars on a Mitsubishi L200 for damper change? thanks,

Jack the vehicle, place on stands, then jack under the torsion bar arm, remove the strut ball joint, then lower the jack as far as necessary.
