L300 -87 2.5D minibus - electrical probs

Hi Just got my hands on a minibus running quite fine.



Until now I found 2 annoying probs:


*1 ) no illumination of the instrument cluster. Had it dismounted and found no power at the bulbs. Saw in the electrical diagram, that this circuit is protectec by at special stand-alone fuse (not in the fuse-box). Does anyone know the approx location of this fuse ?.


*2 ) no power to back-ligths. Not a fuse problem. Could it be a switch problem, any ideas ?.



Also I'm looking for a car-owners manual.

Hi Now I've got back-ligths ;-} . Broken wires in the resin/plastic part of the switch in the transmission was the cause. I yanked the plastic lid off, soldered new wires onto the switch and filled with resin and all is okay.

Still no illumination af the instrument cluster.

Still looking for a car-owners manual.

My 2 problems are solved now ;-} . ad *1) This circuit is protected by a special seperate fuse, located just to beside the heater close to the feet-location at the passenger side (LHD).

Still looking for a owners-manual, though.
