Yes, classic fuel starvation symptom.

#1: The fuel return line or the evaporative system is blocked or non-functional in some way. What's happening is that the fuel pump is creating a partial vacuum in the tank, accentuated in warm weather, and esspecially if the tank is less than 1/2 full. The evap system is supposed to permit the equaliziation of pressure in the tank. Eventually the pump is unable to overcome the vacuum, and when you brake or turn right, the gas sloshes to one side and the pump cavitates.

Test this when it happens by slowly indoing the gas cap. If you hear a "ssssss" sound, that's the pressure in the tank equalizing. Simple fixes: depressurize the tank before you drive off. Drain the gas tank and get the dirt out. Replace your fuel filter.

Harder fix: check the evap system for leaks and damaged hoses.

#2: your fuel pump is worn out. Possible but far less likely than #1.
