I have a 1994 Mitsubishi Mirage that is a commuter car, 120 miles a day. Could anyone recommend some front seats that would bolt right in? I would prefer something that does not require fabrication, although I do have a mig welder that I can use. I have seen the racing type seats on ebay, and I am not sure if those would be much better than what I am currently using. One more thing, I have a low end Mirage not the S version. thx

The only seats that "bolt right in" are the Mirage seats. Everything else requires some sort of adapter bracket or frame. '"Racing" type seats hold you in place, at the expense of ease of access. If you have a 2 door and want access to the rear seats, then you need something that tilts, at least for the passenger.
You might consider seats from a 90-95 Eclipse/Talon. These have somewhat better support then the Mirage, and require some simple bent and welded adapter frames to make them fit. Go down to a wrecker and stick you bum in some, and see what you think. Be aware that you should not pay more than about $40 per seat in good condition. Wreckers can barely give these away.
