Nah, it was a sprayable plastic film, a bit like the wrap stuff that they use on vinyl wraps, and I the stuff I've seen for inside bike visors so you can have a scary skull sticking out of the eye slot.

One of the blokes at work has just traded his Celica in for a VXR Astra was thinking about reversing sensors as he is only little. He was worried that some of the sensors don't like to be sprayed, so I figured that plastic would be perfect because 50% of the sensor would be clear and not painted at all.

At one point they were sprayed green, but lit up normal, and it wasn't that they were njust thin coated, they had a film on.

Kermy had three rear lights - original, ones that had been sprayed with a light tinting stuff, and the black funky ones. The front indicators did have a mesh film stuff to disguise the orange, if that's what you mean..?

It was light film or light mesh bought from RURacing as I remember, sprayed silver. Also works sprayed black on a black machine.

Worked surprisingly well for a pikey solution. ;-)

Pfff! That's the expensive way rich boy! Used tights, that are going in the bin otherwise for the pikey win ;-)
